FORCED TRANSVERSE VIBRATIONS OF FRACTIONAL VISCOELASTIC EULER-BERNOULLI BEAM USING THE MODAL ANALYSIS METHOD

In the paper, forced transverse vibration of fractional viscoelastic Euler-Bernoulli is studied. Based on relationship stress and strain, partial differential equation describing beam considered. The Riemann-Liouville derivative order used. Using Ritz-Galerkin method, transformed into a system equations containing derivatives. dynamic response simply supported to harmonic concentrated force calculated in detail. solution determined using balancing method. analytically, while responses are numerically. effects fractional–order parameters amplitude-time curves investigated. From calculation results, we can see that lower parameter is, larger amplitude. This consistent with our logic thinking. A comparison between approximately analytical numerical one shows good agreement, correctness obtained results therefore verified.
